Low-cost airline "Russia" opens direct flights to Georgia

Flying to Georgia will now become even easier! Aeroflot's daughter low-cost airline Rossiya has announced the launch of direct flights from Sheremetyevo to Tbilisi from mid-October. This is wonderful news for everyone who dreams of visiting this beautiful country, full of rich history and beautiful landscapes.

The possibility of direct flights appeared after Russia lifted in May the ban on flights to Georgia, which was introduced back in 2019. Since then, three companies have successfully operated flights between these two countries - Azimut, Georgian Airlines and Red Wings. Now it's time for Russia to offer its convenient flights.

At the same time, two destinations are expected to open at once - twice a day to Tbilisi from Moscow at 0:45 and 9:35 in the morning (Moscow time) and three times a week to Batumi on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays morning flights at 10:30 in Moscow. The first flights to both Tbilisi and Batumi are expected on October 14.

We hope that these flights will be the beginning of a new era of friendship and cooperation between our two countries, opening the doors to the tourist and business flow.
