In the summer before quarantine 2019, the country's income from the tourism industry amounted to more than three billion US dollars. Due to the raging pandemic and its consequences, the indicators have deteriorated significantly.

In order to improve the situation in an important component of the state economy, the authorities are taking a number of measures.

From the beginning of July, the curfew will be lifted, and restaurants will be allowed to receive guests until 24:00.

There is also an international air service with local airports. The total number of daily flights to Georgia exceeded 50% of the amount of pre-quarantine time.

There are more and more tourists arriving in the country by land and air transport. While maintaining positive dynamics, an early recovery of 2019 indicators is expected.

    Да, очень много вреда принес коронавирус приросту числа туристов в Грузии, но это не повод отчаиваться, хотя это повод, но это здорово, что власти хоть какими-то мерами стараются помочь туристическому бизнесу во время кризиса. За хорошим доходом следует кризис, а за кризисом - хороший доход. Так что в скором времени кризис закончится и доходы возрастут.

      Да, коронавирус убил туризм почти во всех странах, в которых туризм был очень развит. Но грузинские власти большие молодцы, что поддерживают сферу туризма и стараются развивать ее даже в такой сложной период экономического кризиса по всему миру. Как только появятся прямые рейсы из России в Грузию я поеду туда на отдых. поем вкусной еды, посмотрю на памятники архитектуры.
