The great literary man Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin was born on June 6, 1799. On this day, two hundred years later, a memorable cultural event dedicated to this date was held in Tbilisi.

The works were voiced in different languages by performers of all ages.
Russian diplomats were among those who attended the literary readings. According to one of them, a representative of the Russian Federation Interests Section, together with the poet, the Russian language itself was born.
