Three sketches of the Russian artist were presented to the metropolitan Museum
The Palace of Art, a museum in Tbilisi, has accepted the works of Alexander Benois, a Russian artist of the "Silver Age", as a gift.
The sketches created by the artist in the first half of the XX century for the performance set to the music of the French composer Ravel "La Valse" became the property of the metropolitan Temple of Arts.
Subsequently, the famous choreographer of Georgian origin George Balanchine staged a ballet to the same music.
The works were purchased in London, at auction, by entrepreneur and producer in the film industry Archil Gelovani, and donated to the museum.
