"Greeks in Georgia" – a unique exhibition in Tbilisi
On March 29, an exhibition dedicated to the Greek Independence Day and dedicated to friendly relations between the two countries opened in Tbilisi at the National Archive of the Ministry of Justice.
The exhibition presents materials from archives, historical documents telling about the life of the Greeks on Georgian territory.
Also on the exhibition you can see photos when Georgia was still a Republic.
The national treasures of Georgia are on display at the exhibition – the Gospel of Anchi and the Gospel of the Trout Fortress. The national treasure was returned to its homeland by the Greeks at the beginning of the XX century.
The exhibition will continue its work throughout April.
