Georgia’s Economic Development Corporation is allocated GEL 200 million in the initial draft budget for 2027. As BMG reported on 19 October, GEL 195 million is intended for programme financing and GEL 5 million for administration. The corporation was established in spring 2026 on the basis of the Enterprise Georgia programme.
The plans for 2027 envisage starting co-financing for around 410 businesses. A further 150–200 beneficiaries are to receive support through the credit guarantee scheme. These figures come from the initial budget proposal.
