Credo Bank and ADB sign GEL 120 million business funding deal
Credo Bank and the Asian Development Bank have signed a GEL 120 million investment agreement. BMG reports that the funds are intended to support micro, small and medium-sized businesses outside Tbilisi, including women-led enterprises.
The long-term funding is denominated in local currency. The transaction announcement links this to reducing the bank's foreign currency exposure and risks. Credo Bank's partnership with ADB began in 2015.
