Auto importers association: company activity has roughly halved
In October 2026, BPN published remarks by the head of the Auto Importers Association on the Sakme programme on PalitraNews and Radio Palitra. By his estimate, company activity has on average fallen by about half, with small and medium firms hit harder than large ones.
He linked the difficulties to changes in import regulation, international restrictions, higher car prices at US auctions and logistics.
