Its length is about 3 kilometers. The path begins with a small hill in the forest, then you will need to walk along a winding path that will lead you to a hill in the grove.
After you have mastered the previously described route, all you have to do is climb high into the mountain, where you will also come face to face with one of the most beautiful sights in Georgia - the Church of Our Lady, built back in the Middle Ages.
After enjoying the view of this church, you will see a rock massif - “Columns of Sairme” They are located approximately 700 meters above sea level. The distance from the ancient cultural center of Georgia - Tbilisi will be approximately 251 kilometers. The city of Kutaisi is about 50 kilometers away, and the administrative center of the Ambrolauri Municipality is only 35 kilometers away.

There are several ways to get to the beginning of the Sairme Columns hiking trail. Public transportation is a popular choice among tourists and locals, as it is convenient and affordable. From Tbilisi, a shuttle bus departs early in the morning towards the village of Chrebalo, located on the banks of the Rioni River.
Once you reach the pass, you will need to find a suitable mode of transportation to ascend to the massive columns or choose to walk the distance. The Sairme Columns are one of the most beautiful and amazing sights in Georgia.
