The Seylanovs ' House

The old and sturdy house began to be built in 1905. The house is large, with three floors and two entrances. Apparently, that's why the construction was delayed until 1911. The end date is indicated in front of the entrance to the entrance, at the threshold.

Very little is known about the owners at all. From the scant information that has reached our crazy XXI century, it is known that the brothers lived as one big family in this three-story house. They began to be built in 1905, according to the project of the famous architect Gazaros Sarksian. The one who built a house for the merchant Kalantarov on Sergievskaya, now Machabeli Street. And if the Kalantar house is considered the pearl of Sololak, the Seylanovsky can rightfully be called the most wonderful snuffbox.

The most valuable in the front of this house are the wall paintings. There are several of them, and each of them plotfully implies a certain terrestrial continent. One of the paintings shows an Asian landscape, the other shows Florence and Notre Dame, there are images of Africa, America and Of Russia.
