Why My Company Is Already in the Directory, Even Though I Never Added It

If you found your company's card on Madloba.info and don't recall ever submitting it - this is normal. It works the same way as Google Maps, 2GIS, Yell.ge, and most other business directories: they collect open information about companies from public sources.

Where the Information Comes From

We don't invent data. Madloba collects information from sources that are already publicly available:

• The National Agency of Public Registry of Georgia (napr.gov.ge)
• Google Maps
• Company Facebook pages
• Official websites of organisations
• Other public directories and registries

If your company is registered or has a public presence, it may appear in the directory based on this data.

This Is Normal and Legal

Publishing open information about organisations is standard practice for business directories worldwide. Google Maps, 2GIS, Yell.ge, TripAdvisor, and Yandex Business work exactly the same way.

From a legal standpoint: the Georgian Law on Personal Data Protection protects data about natural persons. Open information about a legal entity (company) does not fall under this law - it is inherently public by virtue of the registration process.

What You Can Do With the Listing Right Now

Option 1 - Leave it as is. If the information is accurate and you're satisfied with it, the card is already working for you - attracting clients, appearing in search. No action needed.

Option 2 - Improve the listing. Send us your own description, add photos, update contacts and hours. This is free. Details

Option 3 - Respond to reviews. If there are already reviews under your card, you can respond to them on behalf of the company, free of charge. Details

Option 4 - Get professional design. A premium card with a photo, priority in category, a dedicated manager. Details

What Cannot Be Done

❌ Delete the listing entirely - business directories do not remove companies at the company's own request, just as Google Maps will not remove a venue simply because it wants to be removed. Details

❌ Block incoming reviews - users have the right to leave reviews. You can respond to them.

If the Listing Contains Incorrect Information

If the data is outdated or was inaccurate from the start - we will correct it. Send an email from the company's official address to [email protected] and specify what needs to be changed.
