The church of St. George under the Kasuri name stands in Saguramo, at the eastern approaches to Mtskheta. Kasuri is a local name of the kind many Georgian village shrines carry: they keep the memory of old places and families.
Saguramo is known above all for the house museum of Ilia Chavchavadze and the protected forest on the slopes, and there are several churches around: two and a half kilometres away stands the Crow sakdari of the Mother of God, and a little further the Marian church of Saguramo itself.
The church can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. In the working church keep quiet and dress modestly.
