The church of the Holy Trinity stands in a cemetery about three hundred metres north of Sukiti village in Kareli Municipality. The hall of about twelve metres by seven is laid of roughly worked sandstone, while the load bearing parts, the narthex and the imposts are carried out in cleanly polished stone.
The monument is badly damaged: the roof and the west and south walls have collapsed entirely, as have the later annexes on the north, south and west, though their plan can still be read. The conch of the apse survives together with the single north entrance.
A narrow arched window stood on the axis of the semicircular apse with rectangular niches on either side, and above the northern one, within the thickness of the wall, a small niche is made and joined to the sanctuary by a rectangular opening. A band of masonry laid differently from the rest of the wall runs up to the level of the apse window base. Two tier pilasters stand on the long walls of the hall: the upper impost carried the vault arch and the lower one the decorative wall arches.
