The church of St. George stands at Mtadekeuli near Natlismtsemeli village of Kaspi Municipality. The village name translates as the Baptist, the Georgian way of naming John the Forerunner.
The area lies in the south of the municipality, in the hills far from the district centre, and is also known as Tsiteltskaro. A couple of kilometres away stand the St. George church of Tsiteltskaro and the church at Kanobi.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. The roads are unpaved and easier in dry weather.
