The St. George naeklesiari lies at Iailebi near Gagluantubani village in the west of Shida Kartli. Naeklesiari means a place where a church once stood: the building itself is gone.
The area lies on the uplands south of the Kura valley, away from the main roads. Two more naeklesiari of the same area stand a couple of kilometres to the north, and a church of St. George is active five kilometres away in Kvelaantubani.
Access is free at any time, and the path runs across the grass. Candles are left here, and the stones and masonry deserve careful treatment.
