Only ruins remain of the domed church by Uraveli. The building is called a triconch: in architecture that is a church whose three sides end in semicircular projections, apses.
The ruins stand in the valley south of Akhaltsikhe, close to Uraveli village. A kilometre away the Transfiguration church is in use, and higher up the slopes lies the Agara monastery.
The walls crumble, so do not go inside. View the building from outside and keep to the path.
