Kilda is a nasoplari, that is the site of a vanished village; of its church only ruins remain. The shrine is mentioned both as a church of the Archangel and as a church of St. Eustathius, so two traditions about its dedication have reached us together.
The ruins stand by Nakalakevi village in Aspindza municipality, on the Javakheti plateau. The nearest working church, the St. George church of Chunchkha, lies five kilometres away.
Treat the ruins with care: do not take the masonry apart and leave no traces. The site can be visited at any time; follow the coordinates.
