Stone sculptures survive on the site of a former church in Enteli. Such carved stones by a naeklesiari are rare and usually come from the decoration of the building itself.
Enteli lies in Akhaltsikhe Municipality, about a kilometre and a quarter from the Agara monastery near Uraveli. The area is mountainous and the slopes are terraced for old fields. There is no steady flow of visitors and the site remains little known.
Keep to the paths and watch your step, since stones hide in the grass. The site remains part of the everyday life of the area, and that deserves respect.
