The St. George church in the Shikhra locality stands by Mazeri village in the Becho valley. The shrine also has a Svan name, as do almost all churches of this valley.
Mazeri is the main village of the Becho community, where the trails to Ushba and the Shdugra waterfall begin. Seven hundred metres away stands the Skelshi church of St. George, a kilometre and a half the Ghormli church of St. George, and a little over two kilometres the Chokhuldi church of the Saviour.
Small Svan churches rarely hold regular services, yet the shrine can be approached at any time. Follow the coordinates.
