The Ghormli church of St. George stands by Mazeri village in the Becho valley. Ghormli is the local name of the shrine, and beside it stands the Svan byname jgrag, that is St. George in Svan.
Mazeri is the main village of the Becho community, where the trails to Ushba and the Shdugra waterfall begin. There are several churches around: six hundred metres away stands the Chokhuldi church of the Saviour, a kilometre and a half off the Shikhra church of St. George, and two more shrines in neighbouring Tvebishi.
The church can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. If you are heading for Ushba, it is easy to see the shrine on the way.
