Another shrine of Nakra village bears the name Jgrag Namurkvamash: jgrag is the Svan name of St. George, the second word is a local byname. Nakra is a village in the side valley of the same name that opens towards the Enguri.
There are three churches in Nakra: besides this one, two more small shrines stand within a kilometre. Such closeness is usual for Svan villages, where every clan and every place kept a sanctuary of its own.
The shrine can be approached at any time; follow the coordinates. If you find the doors open, enter quietly and modestly dressed.
