The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. Trinity churches are many in Racha and are told apart only by the name of the village: one valley may hold several identical dedications.
Parakheti lies between Oni and Ambrolauri, away from the main road. The Archangel church at Shardometi stands about two kilometres off, the Archangel parish of Sori five, the church of St. George of the same Sori a little further. The nearest namesakes by dedication stand far away, in the uplands by Kvedi and in Oni municipality.
The road runs along a slope and the unpaved stretches soften between seasons. The church is a village one, services are not held every day, yet it can be seen from outside. Dress modestly, keep quiet inside, leave offerings untouched. Downstream lies Oni, upstream Ambrolauri.
