Only ruins are left of the St George church in Sabechisi: the walls have fallen, the roof is gone, and no services have been held here for a long time.
The place opens a cluster of shrines remarkable for its density. Sabechisi holds five holy places, and all of them fit into a circle three hundred metres across: besides these ruins there are the chapels of the prophet Elijah, of St John the Baptist and of St Nicholas, and the ruins of the church of the apostles Peter and Paul. The village lies north-east of Tsalka.
All of them can be walked in about twenty minutes. Going inside the ruins is a bad idea, the masonry holds badly, and the stones are better left alone.
