The church in the Pirpijani nasoplari stands in the Poladauri valley, on the left bank, on a high rocky outcrop. On the map of Vakhushti Batonishvili a village called Pirpijani is marked here in the late Middle Ages, and settlements south of the church, at the foot of the mountain, have survived to this day.
The hall of about six and a half metres by four and a half is set right on the rock massif and laid of local stone cut from the rock on the spot. Relatively smooth ashlars are placed at the corners, and the same stone was used for the walls of the apse.
The entrance is on the south and dressed with an architrave, with round holes made in the lintels. Arched windows are cut on either side in the east wall, the west wall is blind, and whether the south wall held a window is not known now. A stone cornice finished the walls, and the semicircular apse is separated by a side wall. Sources assign the church to the 12th and 13th centuries.
