Only ruins are left of the Charkhana church. Neither its dedication nor the tradition it belonged to has come down to us: only the name of the place is known, and the church is counted by it.
The spot lies near Darbazi, west of Bolnisi. Old church sites are unusually many in this district: there is the Bualo Kilisa church, the ruins of Aghzi Giorkilisa and the site of the Sunukhgorgi church. Their names differ in origin, and in that the mixed history of the village can be seen.
No services are held here and people come freely. The ruins are viewed from the outside, and going in is a bad idea.
