A small chapel dedicated to John the Baptist stands in the eastern part of Beshtasheni village. The building is modest, with room for only a few people.
The Tsalka plateau with open fields and the Beshtasheni river canyon surrounds it. Half a kilometre west stands the main village church of St Nicholas.
You can come at any time and quiet is expected inside. Modest dress is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left where they are.
