Another church of Vardisubani stands west of the village in Telavi Municipality, and it is not just a church but a small skete. The ground is enclosed by a low wall with dwelling and utility buildings set along it.
The church itself is small, about five metres by four, with a semicircular apse and an entrance on the south: outside the opening is dressed with a semicircular arch, inside it is rectangular. An even smaller chapel adjoins it from the south, round within and eight sided without, serving as a bell tower. The walls of both buildings are drawn in one line and laid of cobble, with square brick inserted into the masonry here and there.
A low vaulted window is cut in the apse with four sided niches on either side, and both spaces are covered by plastered half cylindrical vaults. A narrow tall arched opening is left in each corner of the bell tower, which is covered inside by a domical vault and outside by a pyramidal brick roof. Works were carried out on the site in the mid two thousands.
