The Tsikhisjvari church stands in Ruispiri village in Telavi Municipality. It is a small chapel of about five metres by four, laid of cobble of varying size. Sources assign the building to the 17th and 18th centuries, and the church is active.
The single entrance is on the side, the door is built of square brick and covered by an arch set into a rectangular field with a step and a frieze along the crest, while the opening is rectangular within. On the east a semicircular apse is raised about twenty centimetres above the floor of the hall, with a narrow tall arched window at its centre and niches on either side: rectangular on the south, two arched ones on the north, a small and a large.
A four sided altar table adjoins the wall beneath the window, and the sanctuary itself is separated from the hall by a brick screen with an arched door in the middle. The floor is laid with square brick, the walls are plastered inside and the covering is arched. In 2010 the church was put in order at the expense of a villager: the collapsed upper part of the annexe was rebuilt and the roof covered with corrugated tile.
