The church of the Archangels stands in Kalauri in Gurjaani Municipality. The hall was laid in uneven layers of large cobble and its fragments, and today the building is almost entirely ruined: part of the walls still holds, while only traces remain of the rest.
The entrance was made on the west side and fragments of the arch of its opening have survived. A semicircular apse closed the sanctuary, its middle part has collapsed, but a small rectangular niche survives in its side walls, and only the springing of the arch is left of the vault.
A rectangular cobble enclosure of about seventeen by fourteen metres adjoined the church, and only small fragments of it remain. Sources assign the building to the late Middle Ages and lists it as a cultural heritage monument.
