A parish church of Saint Nicholas, the second in the village. Saint Nicholas is perhaps the most universal saint of the Orthodox world: patron of travellers, sailors, traders and anyone in need of swift help.
The church stands about three hundred metres from the Saint George one, and both can be walked in a single visit. Two parishes in one small village are not rare in eastern Imereti: the villages here are strung along the hills and each part gravitates to its own church. The century of building is not established.
The parish is rural and services follow the church year. Dress modestly, women wear a headscarf. If the doors are locked, ask about the time in the village.
