The southern mosque of Laituri stands about two and a half kilometres from the northern one, closer to the edge of the settlement. Both carry the same name, so they have to be told apart by location.
The presence of two separate mosques in one settlement points either to a community that outgrew a single building, or to worshippers living at two different ends, each end finding it easier to have its own place of prayer. For Guria, where Muslim sites are few, such a pair is especially noticeable.
The visiting rules are the same: shoes are removed at the entrance, shoulders and knees covered, and women need a headscarf. Sightseeing during prayer is out of place. The mosque has a toilet.
