Georgia is a cheese country
Cheese making is an art with an ancient history and traditional features. Each cheese country has its own specifics and traditions of cheese production, its own recipes and nuances.
Georgia is one of the top ten cheese countries, which means that the international expert commission has evaluated the quality of cheese and the efforts of cheese makers to preserve the ancient traditions and recipes of cheese making.
Georgia produces 80 thousand tons of cheese every year. Only industrial 14 varieties are made here, and private village cheese factories remember and carefully pass on to the next generation family recipes that are centuries old.
