The International Short Film Festival has started in Kutaisi
On October 20, the 3rd International Short Film Festival began its work in Kutaisi, which promises to be dynamic and eventful. This year, the main stars of the festival will be films from the Czech Republic.
The Czech Republic has been declared the "Country in Focus" this year, so festival guests will be able to enjoy watching the latest Czech films. In addition, special screenings of films by the famous Belgian female director Chantal Akerman are planned to pay tribute to the achievements of women filmmakers.
The organizers also planned educational programs for cinematographers, master classes, discussions and presentations to make the festival even more interesting and informative.
As always, the festival, which will last until October 25, will present modern Georgian short films, including several premiere screenings. An important part of the festival will be determining the leaders in three categories: "Best Film", "Best Director" and "Best Cinematographer". The best in the categories will be awarded the main prize of the festival - the Golden Dinosaur. All the events of the festival will be hosted by the Sakartvelo cinema.
