Maxim Mrvitsa: Virtuoso piano art for the first time in Georgia
Croatian musical prodigy Maxim Mrvica, the personification of piano virtuosity in a mixed style (crossover), is preparing to charm the Georgian audience for the first time with his incredible skill.
Tbilisi will witness this exceptional moment on October 26, when Mrvica will perform an amazing concert show "MAXIM Collection" as part of her global tour. This event is timed to coincide with the long-awaited debut of the pianist in Georgia and has already aroused great interest among music connoisseurs.
Maxim Mrvitsa is a name that is marked by success and sales all over the world. His musical style mixes genres from classics to movie soundtracks, and also includes pop and electronica. Collaboration with major labels such as EMI, Sony and Universal allowed him to leave a mark in the history of music.
Mrvica started his musical career at the age of 9 and continued to improve, learning from outstanding musicians. Studying at the Zagreb Academy of Music, the Budapest Academy of Music and master classes in Paris under Igor Lazko made him a master of the keys.
He was awarded first places at international competitions, such as the Nikolai Rubinstein International Piano Competition in Paris in 1999 and the Pontoise International Competition in 2001. His interpretations of the works of the Croatian composer Tonci Hulic are recognized as magnificent.
Maxim Mrvitsa has performed on the most prestigious stages in the world, such as the Roundhouse in London, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Great Hall of the People in Beijing, Sydney Opera House, Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai and CCTV Spring Gala Festival. His repertoire includes compositions from the films "Nostradamus", "Bohemian Rhapsody of the Queen", "Croatian Rhapsody", "Game of Thrones", "Mission Impossible" and "Pirates of the Caribbean".
