How the pandemic affected the festival movement.

The raging coronavirus epidemic and its serious consequences have greatly changed not only the economic sphere of all countries, but also affected world cultural life.

According to confirmed data from official sources, it became known that the list of festivals "which did not exist" continues to grow. Georgian Echowaves (Anaklia), Check in Georgia (Tbilisi) joined them. The Tourism Administration has already confirmed this information.

The organizers of the failed event declare that it is impossible to hold a concert due to the pandemic and post-event restrictions and announced a new date for Echowaves-2022.

    С ужасом вспоминаю времена пандемии, когда всем пришлось сидеть дома. Как хорошо, что они уже закончились, теперь мы вновь живём обычной жизнью. Надеюсь, что пандемия не сильно скажется на дальнейшей культурной жизни Грузии. Как жаль, что были отменены такие интересные мероприятия!

    Естественно пандемия воспрепятствовала крупным и не очень мероприятиям. Людям просто запретили массово собираться, дабы не разносить болезнь. Такой запрет мне вполне понятен, потому-что важно как можно больше ограничить заболеваемость и не разносить заразу. Во всем мире на длительное время был карантин.
