Construction in Georgia is getting more expensive.

According to experts, the number of commissioned facilities has increased by more than 16 percent compared to the beginning of the year. At the same time, their area decreased by 18.5%.

For several months, the indicator of the cost of construction work decreased by 1.6 percent. Experts explain such changes by a decrease in the wages of workers in the construction sector and a sharp rise in the price of materials needed for construction.

If we compare with the results of last year, today the indexation of construction prices has become higher by 8.7%
