Georgia occupies a stable position in the world of agricultural products, continuing to increase exports, and impressing with a variety of products. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, in the period from January 1 to July 31 of this year, the volume of exports of agricultural products increased by 27.7%, reaching an impressive 787.5 million dollars.

The largest export growth was recorded in blueberries (118%), sheep (66%), cattle (65%), soft carbonated drinks (62.5%) and snails (49%). It is unusual, but a fact: snails from Georgia are popular abroad.

Blueberries became one of the export stars, bringing Georgia $18.2 million. Vines also contributed, with wine in the foreground - wine exports totaled $150.5 million, an increase of 24.3%. Alcoholic beverages, mineral waters and even bay leaves from Georgia find their buyers all over the world.

Turkey, the European Union, Russia, the United States, Azerbaijan, Armenia, China, Ukraine and other countries are the ones who purchase Georgian agricultural products. Georgia is confidently gaining its niche in the world market with a variety of unique products, which underlines the importance of diversity in its agro-industry. This export growth confirms the international recognition of the high quality and taste of products from Georgia.
