Japanese and Georgian business circles are getting closer.

The Government of Japan announced the early entry into force of the pact "On Liberalization, support and Protection of Investments between Georgia and Japan", signed on January 29.

An international treaty should facilitate the movement of private capital between the allied countries, increase the efficiency of economic relations and develop the necessary resources.

Also, the new legal protection mechanisms should have a positive impact on the entrepreneurial initiative.

The head of the Ministry of Economy of Georgia confirmed the country's readiness for foreign investments. In his opinion, the pact will help to implement joint business projects at a new level.

The international community believes that the Georgian business sector has good prospects due to the liberal tax system and cooperation with international EU markets.

The Japanese Foreign Ministry notes the attractiveness of the partner's logistics center, which undoubtedly has an impact on attracting foreign investments.

The agreement will come into effect on July 23, 4 years after the start of negotiations.
