Batumi is a city in Georgia, the capital of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, in the southwest of the country on the Black Sea coast. It is about 15 kilometres from the Turkish border and roughly 350-370 kilometres from Tbilisi. It is Georgia's main seaside resort and one of its largest cities, with a port and an international airport.
