Abudelauri Lakes Hike: Juta to Roshka Mountain Trail

If you started looking for information on the Internet about the most beautiful places in Georgia, or if you were wondering what to see in Georgia, then get ready to go on a hike along the route of Juta – Abudelauri Colored Lakes – Roshka.

Please note that the best time to visit this area is in the summer and early autumn (September).

The route is planned as follows.

Day 1.

On this day, we start our journey from the village of Juta, walking through the green plateau where the horses graze, and taking in the views that are more like postcard photos. As we enjoy the scenery, we make our way towards Lake Tina, which reflects the peaks of the surrounding mountains like a mirror. We also climb the peaks of Mount Chauhia.

For the first day, we have enough impressions, and we spend the night at the Chauhom camp.

Day 2.

Today, we have two lakes on our agenda: the Blue Lake and the White Lake of Abudelauri. In other words, they are collectively known as the Colorful Lakes of Abudelauri. This marks the end of our journey.

In terms of physical exertion, this route is relatively easy, as it does not involve any significant descents or ascents, making it suitable for beginners. However, the views along the way are comparable to a journey around the globe, encompassing deserts, lush alpine meadows, and snow-capped mountain peaks.
