Our self-guided gastronomic tour will start at a place that is always full of tourists, although it is believed that such places are usually not tasty or expensive. Our first stop is the Holy Trinity Church. This is perhaps the only place where a large number of tourists and delicious food come together.

Cafe “Vody Lagidze”

Near the temple, on Samreklo Street, there is a small cafe “Vody Lagidze”. Initially, the cafe was famous for its lemonades, which were taken to Russia and served at the royal table. In addition to drinks, “Vody Lagidze” is famous for its Adjarian khachapuri. They are considered the most delicious in all of Georgia.

The cafe is open daily from 10 a.m. until late in the evening. After enjoying a delicious meal, you can explore the Holy Trinity Church. This beautiful place with an interesting monument and delicious cuisine at the local cafe will leave only positive memories in your mind.

Cafe L’Angolo

Cafe L’Angolo is located right next to the Holy Trinity Church.

They serve delicious desserts and amazing coffee.

In addition, they offer the most delicious natural ice cream in the country.

This cafe is quite small, but it has a cozy atmosphere.

Not many cafes in Georgia can boast of such a warm and inviting environment.

The Cone Culture

This place can't be called a cafe. All you'll see is a small window.

But what you'll be served through it will be amazingly delicious.

They sell natural ice cream with various seasonal flavors. In summer, you can buy excellent lemonade here, and in winter, mulled wine.

This truly delicious place is located on Shevchenko Street.

Otakhi Cafe

Otakhi Cafe is located behind the Parliament, among the small streets.

Here, you can enjoy a delicious, albeit slightly expensive, cup of coffee.

The cafe has an unusual interior design.

You can either drink your coffee inside or take it with you, which is very convenient.

The cafe is located at 6 Zubalashvili Street.

For those who don't enjoy coffee, Tbilisi has another unique place where you can indulge in delicious treats.

House of Khinkali (Дом Хинкали)

If you follow Rustaveli Avenue, you will get to another gastronomic place.

Here you can eat a lot and deliciously. All of Tbilisi knows that the House of Khinkali is the most delicious khinkali.

The most interesting thing is that there are two such institutions in the city and both of them are located in the same house (No. 37).

The first institution is a large restaurant, and the second is located in the basement.

Here the prices are lower and the dishes seem to be even tastier than in the first one.

Wine Gallery

Another notable place in Tbilisi that is worth visiting is the wine gallery, which occupies two floors of the building. In the basement, they sell wine by the glass, while the upper floors offer wine drinks in glass bottles.

The wine is more expensive than what is sold below, but the quality is not significantly different. Additionally, you can taste the wine before purchasing it.

The Deserter Market

A very colorful place in Georgia is the Deserter Market, located at 5 Abastumi Street. Here you will find a huge variety of fruits, nuts, figs, sauces, cheeses, spices, and much more.

The famous churkhkhela can be not only bought here, but also tasted, it is the most delicious here. Market hours from 7 am to 5 pm.

Restaurant «Chemtan Sakhlshi»

For tourists, the inconvenience of this restaurant is that the menu is in Georgian. Although the waiters understand Russian well and will be happy to help you with your choice.

Here we can try a very tasty shashlik, elarji - porridge made of corn with the most delicious traditional cheese suluguni. Everything that is prepared in this institution is distinguished by the versatility of tastes. The restaurant is located on Sulhan Tsintsadze Street, 12.
