The building on Petra Melikishvili Street, 11 in Batumi is famous for the fact that the famous Russian poet Sergei Yesenin lived and worked there in 1924–1925.
On the facade of the house there is a memorial plaque, testifying to the poet’s stay in this place. The object is of historical and cultural value for residents and guests of the city.
