Helping street cats "Catebi" in Tbilisi is a non-profit organization that takes care of city street cats. The main mission of the team of volunteers is to sterilize these animals, which helps control the cat population and improve their living conditions. After the procedure, cats are temporarily placed in a special cat house for recovery. It is important to note that the tip of the ear is trimmed for sterilized cats, which avoids a repeat procedure in the future.
Catebi is supported by the help of subscribers and kind-hearted people who can make regular or one-time donations for the development of the program. The organization is also open to cooperation with businesses and other organizations that want to contribute to animal welfare. Particular attention is paid to animals that require medical care in preparation for sterilization.
Even though Catebi is not a shelter, the organization provides the opportunity to adopt cats that need a permanent home. People looking to support the initiative or find a new furry friend can contact Catebi. These interactions contribute to both a better life for cats and a more responsible attitude towards animals in general.
