Їжа була смачна, приїхали відзначити річницю, але все пішло не так, як хотілося. Барабульки не було, пива також не було. Бармен навіть бігав в магазин за пляшкою 0,33, але в рахунку вказали 0,5. Обіцяли повернути гроші, але, як кажуть, обіцяного три роки чекають. Витратили 100 доларів, а задоволення не отримали.

The food and service here are incredible. I don’t understand why it has such a low ranking. It's truly some of the best we've had in Sicily, and we've visited Modica, Siracusa, Taormina, and Catania. While it is a bit pricey, the food is worth it.

This restaurant offers fantastic fish, delicious dishes, great music, and friendly staff, all within a lovely atmosphere.

When we got there at 9pm, it was completely empty. The food was excellent and very tasty. However, the place lacked atmosphere and seemed overpriced for the portion sizes. They should consider lowering the prices to attract more customers! Many menu items were unavailable, which is understandable with fresh fish and no patrons.

A very disappointing experience.

The grilled dorado (58 GEL) was dry, too salty, and came with undercooked vegetables. The mussels (41 GEL) were just okay but served a bit cold, ruining the creamy texture. The shrimp in butter and garlic (38 GEL) were also cold, like cold melted butter with raw garlic.

I had to repeatedly ask for a spoon just to eat the sauce and shrimp.

The “homemade” lemonade (16 GEL) tasted like Sandora juice mixed with berries, lacking freshness and lemon flavor.

Water (4 GEL) and bread (8 GEL) were fine. Narsharab (5 GEL) was included.

Paid 170 GEL in total because of additional service fees not clearly listed on the menu. Overall, overpriced and not worth it.

The fish was decent and the service was fine, but the mussels were overcooked and the squid was just okay.

Barbatus нравится мне тем, что у него есть характер, а не просто “рыбное меню”. Здесь считывается любовь к черноморской теме, а отзывы стабильно цепляются за мидии, baby octopus, рыбу и подачу. Это не стерильный hotel dining, а живой ресторан, куда идут за вкусом и ощущением “вот это уже похоже на настоящий seafood-ужин”. Из минусов — иногда он воспринимается менее отполированным, чем дорогие европейские адреса, но по вкусовой памяти он точно один из сильнейших.

From the start, the experience stood out. The kitchen has a great respect for seafood—each dish was super fresh, cooked to perfection, and stunningly presented. The flavors were pure and well-balanced, highlighting the seafood's quality.

The service added to the wonderful evening. The staff were attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without being intrusive. They knew the menu well, offered excellent suggestions, and ensured everything at the table was just right.

It's rare to find a place where both the kitchen and service excel. For outstanding seafood and an enjoyable dining experience, this spot is a must-visit. Highly recommended! ⭐️
