Arnold Chikobava Museum

Arnold Stepanovich Chikobava is a world-famous Soviet-Georgian scientist in the field of linguistic sciences.

The activist devoted his whole life to studying the secrets of the Georgian language and studying other languages of the Caucasus.

He successfully graduated from the Georgian Philological Institute, and in his mature years he taught philology himself and was at the head of the research department. In addition, Arnold's great merit is the creation and publication of countless dictionaries of Caucasian languages.

At some time, the linguist was taught in universities according to textbooks and publications.

In the house-museum you can find the originals of Chikobawa dictionaries, personal documents, various notes and personal items.
