Château Fort de Manavi is a boutique hotel housed in a castle and a traditional Kakhetian wine cellar (marani) in the village of Manavi, in the Sagarejo Municipality. According to the owners, wines and chacha are produced in small batches from grapes from their own vineyards, free of chemical additives, and their favorites are available for purchase. Guests can enjoy regional wine tastings and wine masterclasses.
The complex serves traditional Georgian cuisine, including a "supra" feast, a seasonal menu, and cooking masterclasses. Seasonal activities include autumn grape harvesting and the storage of young wine, puri bread baking, and jam making. Excursions to Manavi Fortress, Tbilisi and Mtskheta, Telavi and Tsinandali, Sighnaghi, David Gareji, and Kazbegi, as well as fishing trips, are also offered. According to the company, it has been in the tourism industry for about 30 years, has its own transportation, and guides speak seven languages.
