The waterfall is located in the village of Bijnisi, Khashuri Municipality, on the eastern slope of the Likhi Range, among the natural attractions of the region, at an elevation of 800 metres. Also known as Surami Waterfall, after the neighbouring town. A small pool forms at its base, suited to cooling off on a hot day.

A fair warning about the trail's condition is worth including. According to numerous independent reviews, the trail to the waterfall isn't marked, there's no signage, and the access road needs repair. The route to the waterfall itself involves several river crossings and, in places, climbing over rock, making it physically demanding and requiring caution. According to reviews, two longer but less risky alternative routes exist. We'd recommend sturdy footwear and a pre-planned route, especially if travelling without a local guide.
