The church of St. Theodore stands in the southern part of Khovle village in Kaspi Municipality. The well-known church of Ertatsminda carries the same dedication, but this is a modest village church.
Khovle lies west of Kaspi, in the hills above the Mtkvari valley. The Isidoraant saqdari and the Kvarti St. George church are to the north, and the Virgin Mary church is to the east.
Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
