The Isidoraant saqdari stands in Khovle village of Kaspi Municipality. Saqdari is a folk Georgian word for a church, and the ending aant points to a family quarter: the church belonged to a large family.

Khovle lies west of Kaspi, in the hills above the Mtkvari valley. The village is rich in holy places: the Virgin Mary church and the churches of St. Barbara, St. Theodore and Kvarti stand here as well.

Regular services may not be held, and the church can be approached at any time. Modest clothing is appropriate, and candles and offerings are left in their places.
