The convent of St Catherine is in use in Tba village of Borjomi Municipality. The community is small; the sisters keep the monastic order and receive pilgrims.
The village stands in the mountains northeast of Borjomi, among ponds and meadows. A little over two hundred metres away stands the village Ascension church.
Guests are asked to keep the monastic rules: modest dress, a headscarf for women, photography by permission. Better arrange the time of a visit in advance.
